Course Overview:
Dive into the Student Agency Pillar of the Blended & Personalized Learning Implementation Continuum, the third course in a six-part series. This experience lays the groundwork for deeper exploration on Rigor, Assessment & Data Driven Instruction, and Personalized Instruction. Participants will deepen their understanding of fostering student agency within the blended learning framework, preparing to advance further in the course series.

This is a paid TEALearn course pathway that includes submitting an artifact for evaluation and receiving personalized feedback from a leader in the Texas Center for Blended Learning (TCBL). Upon successful completion, participants will earn a digital badge to showcase their achievement in Student Agency.

Objectives:

  • Analyze your strengths and growth opportunities as a classroom practitioner engaging with the Student Agency Pillar.
  • Understand foundational elements and initial tasks for fostering student agency through strategies that support self-direction.
  • Evaluate and refine existing systems and strategies to enhance opportunities for student input and self-advocacy.
